In March 20, 2014, Chung Yuan Christian University and NTU-iCeiRA signed MOU, which will promote bilateral cooperation and exchanges between two universities. 

This time, K.C. Chang, the President of Chung Yuan Christian University, led Yuan Professor Kang, the Director of Center for Continuing Education, Professor Meng-Hui Li, the Dean of College of Engineering, Yung Ting, the Chairperson of Mechanical Engineering Department, Assistant Professor Yu-Cheng Chou, Assistant Professor Po-Ting Lin, Associate Professor Yi-Hung Liu, Professor Yuh-Show Tsai, the Chairperson of Biomedical Engineering Department, Associate Professor Wei-Chih Hu, Professor Cheng-Yuan Chang, the Chairperson of Electrical Engineering Department, Chair Professor Tsu-Tian Lee, Associate Professor Chian-Song Chiu, Professor Hsiao-Rong Tyan, the Chairperson of Information Engineering Department, Associate Professor of Hsiao-Rong Tyan, and Information Management Department Associate Professor Chih-Li Hung to visit. There are a total of 15 professors in seven Departments to visit. Chung Yuan Christian University President and Professors and NTU-iCeiRA Director Dr. Luo expect on the relevant research can integrate resources and develop outstanding performance.

Chung Yuan Christian University President and Professors showed deeply interested in the NTU-iCeiRA members’ demonstration and Director Luo’s detailed explanation.
The NTU-iCeiRA research achievements included: 7 DOF robot arm, Human robot interaction robot head, Massage Robot: writing and imitating human, Biped Robot, Nao, Panda Robot, Kangaroo Robot, Vision Robot, and PR2.

To date, NTU-iCeiRA has signed MOU with the total of about 30 domestic manufacturers, such as American NI, Faulhaber, HIWIN, TECO, Compal Communication Inc., Advantech, Victor Taichung Machinery Works Co., etc., hoping to play a given explosive synergy to significantly enhance the level of research and to assist the industry to upgrade and enhance international competitiveness. On May 15 this year, NTU-iCeiRA will hold industry - university cooperation seminar with the MOU manufacturers, expecting more exchanges.
In addition to the development of robot in industries and labs, the intelligent robot will eventually return to our daily lives and let us live better. NTU-iCeiRA dedicated to hold intelligent robot creative competitions annually, as well as the International Robot Hands on Competition & Symposium (IRHOCS), expecting the competition to promote domestic and international personnel exchange and learning, and reaching the purposes of Human–Machine interaction and cooperation.
